Wood is considered a cost-effective material and a renewable resource that can help achieve this balance. Made known through the life cycle assessment (LCA) studies, wood products comprise of less embodied energy, allow for a lower air and water pollution, and have a lighter carbon footprint over any other materials commonly used in buildings.
